A b o u t

“A good snapshot keeps a moment from running away.” ― Eudora Welty

The word p h l i z z was coined by Alice in Wonderland  author Lewis Carroll, describing something apparently existing yet having no real substance. I thought it suited what a photography really is: the capture of a moment which is gone by the second you push the button. While the picture persists it has no counterpart in the real world anymore. A photo is, in itself, phlizz.
